I have a pair of these in a 59 gallon terrarium in my office at work. They are really bold in this tank, always out doing neat things. The male calls, the female chases him around rubbing his back trying to get him into the cocohut. I have a bunch of these frogs at home in 20 gallon tanks and they're very shy in these small tanks. Not sure why, but with auratus I'd put them in a bigger tank. If you want frogs that are bold in smaller tanks get azureus or tinctorius. These frogs are really cool though. The male was carrying the tadpoles around on his back for a couple days. It was fun watching the frogs pick out places for him to drop them off in the water. You can actually see him backing into the pool of water.
